how to recreate a job

I have a dream job in mind for a non-project organization. I need to be paid for living, but not sure how to start. Researching the local organizations is a must and have started. Anyone have any experience doing this?

I'm unsure of what your dream job is or where you are located but three tips to making a transition like this happen:

1. Be clear on what you want (and don't want).

2. Build relationships in the right networks; share.

3. Join a Board (in this case not for profit Board of Directors). What starts out as volunteering can often lead you to the right people and right job in your chosen career.
