Hi Mark, and thank you for your input. As I mentioned before, the Revo*Y community is relatively new, and I am still learning how to position myself online. However, I hadn't realized until I read your suggestion how little I've actually divulged about myself - consider your advice taken :)
As for the employer-directed section of the website, I really only had input from two relevant perspectives, so it's great to have person in your type of position to look at it. I know it needs some work, I had a hard time trying to draw the line between "listen up" and "we need to find a compromise". At the same time, we are based in St. John's, NL where the human resources strategies seem to be so incredibly outdated that they kind of need a kick in the pants. We're finding that there is a huge gap between successful HR strategies, and non-successful HR strategies, there seems to be no "in between". My guess is that's where the negativity you picked up on came from.
I will be spending time with Revo*Y today for some fine-tuning. Hope you check back soon and find some positive changes. In the meantime, I'll be having a look at your upcoming event - it sounds like we have a common goal here.
