I first meet Ellen Sautter and Diane Crompton, co-authors o…

Uncertainty in the economy has become apart of life these days. Despite the storm clouds looming above, there is little doubt that these hard times will pass, as they have before. However the key for those braving the economic weather is surviving.
The one thing that that will ensure an individual’s survival is networking. Yes, their network. It is that old adage, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.
Regardless of the salary made or the title held, a person’s network is the most powerful…

Many people ask, “How do they do it?” They are not asking how to put together that pesky television stand. No, rather they are asking how wealthy and successful people manage to become wealthy and successful.
While many people who have built wealth and are successful most certainly ran into luck along the way, their positions in life are not because the gods of fate have smiled down upon them. Most certainly not. In fact, it is not even a secret, or it shouldn’t be.
One of the things these ind…

As this economy collapses on the private sector side, guess what? The Federal government is expanding!
The current multi-billion dollar economic stimulus bills are requiring the government to expand to oversee and manage the multitude of areas that these complex and spendy bills will cover.
Now, most of us on the outside perhaps never really thought of getting into the government as employees. It's a complex labyrinth with a maze of special requirements and hurdles to overcome.
Not so fast!…
